Unit 2: Health Matters
This unit describes how to offer help and how to express yourself when you are sick or feel sick.

Use the modal must + the base form of a verb to draw a conclusion and indicate that you think something is probably true.
To express concern you can use phrases like:
- Oh, no/ I'm sorry to hear that.
- That's too bad/ a shame.
- You must feel Awful/ terrible/ horrible/ pretty bad.
- make a doctor's appointment for someone.
- Drive someone to a hospital or a clinic.
- pick up something from a pharmacy.
- bring someone soup or tea.
Example
A) I'm sorry, I'm don't think I can't to go to working, this morning I'm feel a little sick.
B) Really? Is there anything wrong?
A) Well, actually, I don't feel very well. I'm fell nauseous and I'm vomiting.
B) I'm sorry to hear that, that must be pretty bad, would you like me send you some medicine?
A) That's really nice of you, but I'm sure I'll be fine.
B) Then call me later and let me know how you fell, ok?
A) Thanks, you're sweet
Medical Procedures
A) Hello. Doctor Quintero's office. Can I help you?
B) Hi, this is Mateo Ortiz. I need to make an appointment for a x ray. I wonder if I might be able to come in tomorrow.
A) I don't have room for tomorrow. How about next week?
B) Could I come the Monday?
A) That would be perfect.
B) We'll see you then.
A) Thanks! I really appreciate it.
Will / or won't be able to + base form: future ability. May / might (or may not / might not) + base form: possibility. You can use be able to with may and might for possibility or with must for drawing conclusions.
